Gautham Prabhakar, MDFellowship-trained Orthopedic Spine Surgeon
Dr. Gautham Prabhakar is a fellowship-trained orthopedic spine surgeon specializing in the comprehensive care of spinal disorders. A true native of Texas, he completed his medical degree at Texas Tech University health Sciences Center in El Paso and went on to complete his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Texas Health Science center in San Antonio. He further advanced his expertise through a spine surgery fellowship in San Diego under Dr. Gregory Mundis, a renowned spinal deformity surgeon, and Dr. Robert Eastlack, who helped develop many new techniques in the world of spine surgery. Dr. Prabhakar is well trained in the latest minimally invasive and complex spinal techniques.
With a deep commitment to patient care, Dr. Prabhakar joined Texas Neuro Spine to bring high-quality, personalized spine care to the San Antonio community. His approach combines cutting-edge surgical methods with a conservative mindset, prioritizing motion preservation and long-term outcomes.
